Your Questions Answered!

Your Questions answered:

Q: Why did you choose the name Lil' Sprouts?

In Proverbs 22:6 we are commanded to train up our children in the way they should go....After having a child I started pondering this verse. I have come to realize it does not mean train them when we have time or if we are feeling good or when we are not to busy or if our husbands would just do the laundry. No, we are commanded to "Train" them up. Not yell them up, not beat them up, and not ignore them up, but to train them up. When God gives them to us they are a little sprout, waiting to be trained in the direction they should go. We are to train them, spend time with them, teach them, encourage them, and prepare them. From birth they depend on us. Train them up in the Lord and when they are old they will not depart from it. They will remember the many hours of fun they had with momma learning to cook, folding the laundry, playing games, vacuuming the carpet. They will remember her calmness and firmness. They will remember seeing Jesus in her eyes. Every day with a child there are opportunities to train them and include them in what you are doing OR there are opportunities to push them aside because of the busyness of life. When will you have time? The kind of time it takes to train a child? They are just a Lil' Sprout!

Q: How can we order items?

You can email us at lilsprouts226@gmail.com. We are hoping by this weekend to have our etsy page up and ready. This will allow you to see all our products and to order online. Please keep posted for more details. Oh, and do not go snooping around etsy. They have lots of fabulous stuff....but we, "Lil Sprouts" need you!

Q: Who is your photographer?

Actually we have two.

Carissa Miller is responsible for all the amazing pictures of the little girls in Tutu's and the baby with the pacifier clip. She is really, really good and very, very affordable. We will definitely be using her again. She is amazing with young children and she really has an eye for photography. You can visit her blog at http://www.millerpartyofive.blogspot.com/ (very funny, real life, stories of a stay at home mom) or you can e-mail her at carissamiller@cox.net. If you are in the Tulsa/Jenks area I would definitely recommend her for your Christmas pictures....better hurry!

Our other photography is my mother-in-law. She is the Proverbs 31 woman that you hope to be one day. Although she lives in Texas she helps us out as much as she can. You can visit her blog at http://www.ladyinashoe.blogspot.com/ (she does have six children). She is an amazing photographer and if you check her blog often enough you will find stories that bring tears to your eyes, it is so refreshing.

Q: How often can we expect new postings?

We are hoping to post several times a week. We will be sharing new products, stories, and who knows what else. This is totally new for us.
